Log into the computer, take attendance, read the Learner Goals, Complete the Bell Ringer. 

LEARNER GOALS

1. Students will open a saved document, make changes to it and print it.

2. Students will view the Computer Tips presentation. Then with a partner will clean a computer.

3. Students will complete all pretests and post tests to complete the Progress Graph in the keyboarding software.

4. Students will print the Progress Graph when completed.

In the KEYBOARDING LESSON below you will find helpful advice to meet this goal.   

KEYBOARDING LESSON 

In your Bell Ringer Document, Make the following changes:

• Select all the text and change it to Times New Roman 10
• Press the key that looks like a new paragraph mark
• Delete all unnecessary spaces by deleting this mark.
• Before you print be sure your are printing in either black or blue, NOT red or any other color!

CHECK FOR UNDERSTANDING

1. Watch the Computer Tips presentation, then you and your partner will clean a computer.

2. Complete ALL pretests and post tests on the Progress Graph in the keyboarding software to Section 1.15. Then Print the Chart and turn it into the basket.
