Log into the computer, take attendance, read the Learner Goal, Complete the Bell Ringer.

LEARNER GOAL

1. Students will learn the screen parts in MS Word. Students will learn to Clean a computer.

  BELL RINGER  
This exercise is "On The Clock." 
You will have 4 minutes to complete it. 

Open a New document

Key your name. (Enter)

Key today's date. (Enter)

Key the class. (Enter)

Double-space (Enter, Enter)

Save the document in your Network Folder.

Name the document "urName_BellRinger2"             

"Describe some methods for turning a multi-page document into a single page."
Use complete sentences in paragraph format. 
Save and close when you are done. 
Read the KEYBOARDING LESSON below and follow the activities.

KEYBOARDING LESSON

1. Practice with a Partner. Read Making the Connection - Your Turn at the bottom of page 130. Then read and complete the ten activities on page 131. Have your partner watch you complete the activities. Then you watch your partner.

2. Label the Terminology Worksheet. Keep as a study guide for the next TEST.

3. Work on completing all pretests and post tests to complete the Progress Graph in the keyboarding software.

5.  Use the Help feature. With your partner look up the word or words on your card. (pg. 132) You must be able to explain your answers.

6. You will be graded on your ability to answer the questions about your word or words.
