The big part of this adventure was the flight home. The first leg of my flight, from Atlanta to Newark, NJ went without a hitch. The flight out of Newark was at first delayed and then cancelled. I booked another flight that was to leave the next morning and spent the night on the floor at the Newark airport with hundreds of other stranded travelers. It was an experience I'll never forget. Especially when my flight was cancelled AGAIN the next morning! I ended up taking an Amtrak train back to Syracuse!
