Students were given a vocabulary list at the beginning of school, they need to know those words for the state test. I have given the students a number of  review list of topics to know for the state test.

We are reviewing in class for the state test but some students require extra studying and they need to do that on their own. They have all the materials they need.  They should be studying at least 1/2 hour each night using the vocabulary lists and review list.

We are less than a week away from the state test in Social 8. The state test IS their Social 8 Final!! They CANNOT take it over.

School Island.com is a web site where students can practice their skills in Math, Social, Science, and English.  I recommend about 15 minutes a night to practice.  Students are in the process of building a review assignment on decimals.  Please encourage them to work on this over the next two weeks. They should NOT use a calculator for this.
