you need to train some ears to pitches, this is the place. Big Ears
plays an interval and then the user guesses which interval was played.
This site uses a java applet that, once loaded, requires nothing more
from you than speakers..

resource on the symphony orchestra. This history of each type of
instrument. as well as how sound becomes music, is explained.

- Piano Nanny--The
Piano Nanny features fully interactive online piano lessons. The 34
lessons take about a half hour each and serve as a good introduction
to piano playing. For some lessons, you will need the Flash and
QuickTime players.
